Changing your Email or Password

SourceClear Software Composition Analysis

To change your password or email for your SourceClear account, you can follow these instructions.

Changing your SourceClear Email

  1. Login to SourceClear by going to your organization URL (i.e. acmedemo.sourceclear.io/login)
  2. Select the dropdown in the top right corner of the screen by “My Account” and then select “Personal settings”.
  3. In the “Profile” tab under “Personal Settings”, you will see a text box labeled “Email”. Replace the existing email here with the email you want to use going forward to login to SourceClear, then click “Update profile”. You will now receive SourceClear emails at the new email domain, and login with this new email.

Changing your password while logged into SourceClear

  1. Login to SourceClear by going to your organization URL (i.e. acmedemo.sourceclear.io/login)
  2. Select the dropdown in the top right corner of the screen by “My Account” and then select “Personal settings”.
  3. In the “Profile” tab under “Personal Settings”, you will see a button labeled “Change password”. Click this button, then enter your current password and your new password. Once finished, click the “Save” button to complete the update.

Changing your password without logging into SourceClear

  1. Navigate to your organization URL (i.e. acmedemo.sourceclear.io/login)
  2. Select the “Forgot password?” link above the sign in button.
  3. Enter the email address associated with the account you have forgotten your password for and click “Send password reset email”. You will now receive an email with a link for updating your password. Follow the link and instructions to update your password.
