Configuring 2-Factor Authentication

SourceClear allows users to make their account and data more secure by setting up 2-Factor Authentication for their accounts using Authy.

Setting up 2-Factor Authentication

In order to setup up 2-Factor authentication you can follow these steps:

  1. Login to SourceClear by going to your organization URL (i.e. acmedemo.sourceclear.io/login)
  2. Select the dropdown in the top right corner of the screen by “My Account” and then select “Personal settings”.
  3. From the left navigating menu under the “Personal Settings” header, select “Two-factor authentication”
  4. Enter your 10 digit phone number, and select “Enable”.
  5. You will receive a text message providing instructions for setting up your SourceClear - Authy account. Follow these instructions and then enter the code into the text box. If you do not wish to setup SourceClear with Authy, you can also click the “Send Code” button to receive a text message for setting up 2-FA.

Once you have completed the steps above, you will be prompted to either enter an Authy code or receive a text message code to your phone the next time you attempt to login with SourceClear

Disabling 2-Factor Authentication

In order to disable 2-Factor authentication you can follow these steps:

  1. Login to SourceClear by going to your organization URL (i.e. acmedemo.sourceclear.io/login)
  2. Select the dropdown in the top right corner of the screen by “My Account” and then select “Personal settings”.
  3. From the left navigating menu under the “Personal Settings” header, select “Two-factor authentication”
  4. Click the toggle across from the “Enabled” text to disable. You will receive a confirmation email informing you that 2-FA has been disabled for your account
