Veracode for VS Code automatically scans any file that is in focus in Visual Studio Code immediately after you save the file, as long as the file compiles successfully.
You can use the auto-scan feature only if a network connection is available. Otherwise, Veracode for VS Code logs an information message that the feature is disabled.
This Veracode for VS Code auto-scan feature lets you start scans automatically in addition to starting scans manually. Scans that you start manually take precedence over auto-scans.
When a scan is in progress, Veracode for VS Code adds files to a queue in the order that you save them. A new auto-scan never starts while another scan, whether it is an auto-scan or one that you manually started, is already running.
