Assigning Findings to Fix Version in Jira or Jira Cloud

You can configure the Veracode Integration for Jira or the Veracode Integration for Jira Cloud to assign findings to the next fix version of your software. After importing a finding and creating an issue for that finding, the integration searches for the defined versions for the Jira or Jira Cloud project. It attempts to find the version with the closest future release date and ignores all versions without release dates. After creating an issue, the integration does not change the fix version. Therefore, at the time of issue creation, if there is no version with a future release date, the integration never assigns a fix version.
